The idea for Pet Nirvana, came around when we lost our own German Shepherd - 'Alaska'.

There were no available plots in Pet Cemeteries in and around Edinburgh. We decided to have him cremated and scatter his ashes on Portobello beach. At this time we received many emails from people who knew Alaska and were touched by his loss. The emails came from many different countries.

This was our inspiration to create Pet Nirvana A lasting memorial and tribute to our dog who had compelled so many people to send their online condolences. If you have lost a pet you too may want to celebrate their life on this site.

Pet Nirvana is a family run business which has been created by animal lovers as a genuine service to help others.
